The Montreal Canadiens continued their front office overhaul today. Sylvain Lefebvre was appointed head coach of the Hamilton Bulldogs, Patrice Brisebois was brought on as Habs player development coach and Martin Lapointe was named the new player development director.  Habs GM Marc Bergevin says he's finally got his dream team.

“I believe I did, you tell me. These guys are quality people. You surround yourself with quality people smarter than you and it makes you look smarter so that’s what I do”

With most of the front office now locked in, Bergevin can  turn his attention to locking up Carey Price and PK Subban to long term contracts.

“It’s an ongoing process and i’m in the process of doing it. We’re talking back and forth yes.”

Lapointe, a native of Ville St. Pierre, played for the Blackhawks, Red Wings, Bruins and Senators during his 14 years in the NHL, and says it's nice to finally come home.

“It’s great. We used to play at the rink named after me and it’s kind of weird and awkward.  It’s a great sense of satisfaction to work with such a prestigious organization as the Montreal Canadiens. It’s just a great day for me and I can assure you one thing too, my parents are really proud of me and really excited for me and my sisters also.”
