Jean Beliveau is celebrating his 81st birthday today. Happy Birthday, Mr Beliveau.

If there is a classier person around, I'd like to meet them. Mr Beliveau was gracious enough to spend a few minutes on the phone with me today. He sounds just fine, despite suffering a stroke earlier this year.

The good news is that he's feeling better and getting stronger.

And he looks forward to a new NHL season. Hopefully, there will be one.
