Hockey legend Jean Beliveau will not side with the players or the owners, but in an emotional appeal asks for the NHL to remember the fans.

"I'm not as fast as I used to be, walking with my cane, so I'm looking forward to those games," says the Hockey Hall of Famer and Order of Canada icon.

"I wish to both parties that they find a way to reach an agreement."
