Scott Gomez is getting up before sunrise in Anchorage, Alaska these days.   He's headed to the gym then practising with his hometown Aces of the East Coast League, where he weathered the last NHL financial storm.

But everything and nothing has changed for Gomez.  Can he fit in a new system with a new coach and GM?  Did spending some time with Max Pacioretty and skating earlier than usual this summer put Scott in the best shape of his life?

What does the longtime Devil with the sarcastic wit really think about PK Subban and Carey Price?

Listen to these excerpts from a lengthy interview that you'll hear more of Wednesday on the Andrew Carter Morning Show at 7:25AM.

Is he worried about his future?   Will he accept a 4th line role if that's what Therrien insists upon? Does he really have a future in Montreal?

Here's some of Scott Gomez in his own words.
