The United States beat the Czech Republic 7-0 in a quarter-final Wednesday. Canada earned a bye to the semifinal for finishing first in its pool. The semifinal will be a rematch of a preliminary-round game between the two countries. Canada edged the U.S. 2-1 in pool play Sunday.
