No word yet on when the N-H-L and N-H-L Players' Association will
meet again as the deadline to save the season draws closer.

The two sides planned to meet separately with a mediator today.

The league and the players need to act quickly to end the lockout. League
commissioner Gary Bettman says an agreement needs to be in place by
January 11th to save a partial 48-game season.
