Let the Habs Games begin

NHL hockey could be back at the Bell Centre as soon as Saturday Jan. 19, and if some fans are still holding a grudge against owners and players, the so-called billionaires versus millionaires, at least the business buzz around the Bell will be back.

A tentative deal is the "Little Christmas" gift from Commissioner Gary Bettman and NHLPA head Donald Fehr, though their tentative 10-year deal must be ratified by the players.

Montreal Canadiens players in Europe are already making plans to come home; NHL stars like Sidney Crosby are happy they held off heading over there in the first place.

With so much to get done in so little time, it will be interesting to see how the Habs shape up for the "2012-13" season: GM's will be able to buy out 2 players and that means Scott Gomez, Tomas Kaberle and Rene Bourque have to prove they belong.

The peace deal is a 10-year CBA though it can be "reopened" at the 8 year mark.

Couldn't case less. I lost interest many yrs ago and honestly all those who have Been complaining about how they have been treated should boycott this season to let them know how they feel, bUT they are all full of hot air and the arenas will be full on game one And the owners and played knew that from from start and it's one of the reasons they kept fighting so long.
And while I don't really care
    Go habs go

As I have read elseware, a fantastic way to show just how we, the fans, are totally fed up with the NHL is to BOYCOTT going to the games and watching them at a local bar on television, looking at all the EMPTY SEATS.

This would help the REAL people whom lost revenue they hurt the most.

    Unfortuneatly, it wont happen.
