Subban low-keys it at 1st full practise
PK Subban took a turn on 2nd powerplay unit and fired a wicked onetimer to beat Carey Price topshelf trapper-hand side. There was no celebrating, not so much as a smile.
Is this the down-low Subbanator?
"Whoa!" echoed up from the ice through the glass at the Brossard fishbowl, the only exclamations on the play from PK's teammates. There are plenty in the media who believe Subban should or must tone down his on and off-ice persona.
PK may be giving hints even he believes that's the case.
Subban's season-debut has yet to be confirmed by Coach Michel Therrien.
Listen to PK, who insists he'll be fine if coach decides to hold him out of the lineup vs. the Sabres.
Ryan White skated on the 4th line with Moen and Armstrong, so it appears speculation he'd be benched as punishment for his costly behaviour 2nd period in Ottawa is only that...speculation.
