Max Pacioretty had tongue firmly in cheek just days after having to have his appendix removed.

Max Pacioretty is only a week removed from emergency appendectomy but he's back on the ice practising with his teammates already.

Initial medical estimates were that the Habs' seemingly indestructible power forward would be out of game action for 3-4 weeks.

Pacioretty had skated Thursday with PK Subban during a day off for the club. 

The Canadiens face divisional rivals their next 5 games, but Pacioretty is not expected to return to game action yet.
