Therrien keeps Subban waiting, Triple Low 5 scrapped
If PK Subban is in the lineup against the Sabres, Coach Therrien is keeping the media and even PK guessing. But one thing is for sure---if the Habs win PK and Carey Price will not celebrate with their signature "Triple Low 5."
Therrien says the coaching staff still has to discuss the pros and cons of throwing Subban into the lineup with only 1 full practise under his belt. Subban says he's ready to play and insists he will NOT be disappointed if he's a healthy scratch.
"It's a question of timing....game-shape," says Therrien.
Subban denies he has to tone down his actions on or off the ice, but Therrien made clear he wants his team celebration to be "humble" respecting the whole team, their opponents and the fans. "We celebrate with a salute to the fans."
The majority of Canadiens fans voting on our Habs poll suggest Therrien would be wise to get Subban into the lineup ASAP.
In fact PK took his even-strength and power-play drills at the side of Francis Bouillon, while Tomas Kaberle was the odd man out forced to pair up with Yannick Weber who has been a healthy scratch.
