White back to Chateau Bow-wow or Bulldogs?
If the goat horns fit, where them. But don't just blaim Ryan White for the Habs' loss in Buffalo.
It takes a team to blow 1-0, 2-1, and 4-2 leads.
"We spoke to him once, spoke to him twice....he better understand..." Coach Michel Therrien paused, seething between his words. He didn't have to name White as the foolish culprit who, let off the leash for the first time since last Thursday's penalty gaffe in Ottawa, shuffled out of Buffalo with his tail between his legs.
But why weren't the Habs taking the body in the final seconds, allowing Buffalo to tie the game with only 1.9 seconds remaining?
Why didn't we see more of Galchenyuk and Gallagher in regulation?
Why not Plekanec, Gallagher or even Subban in the shootout...the hot hands with goals in regulation? Bourque had been unable to fool Ryan Miller on a breakaway.
White may be bag-skated at practise today. Maybe he'll be enroute for Hamilton. Go to the Dogs rather than the doghouse.
Truth is there is enough blaim to go around.
Michel Therrien's response to back-to-back losses will be interesting.
David Desharnais was -2. The line with Cole and Pacioretty generated only 4 shots total. In fact Max looked better with Galchenyuk in overtime.
Maybe it's time to remind DD that he's not untouchable, and that lines are made to be broken and shaken.
