Price starts, Habs face Hurricanes

Coach Therrien may be sick, but he's not so ill that he wouldn't be behind the bench in Carolina tonight.  Nor would he start any stomach-wrenching goalie controversy.

Therrien and the Habs will ride their Cowboy Goalie Carey Price for a 2nd straight game despite Price having given up 12 goals his last 2 starts.  That's plummeted his season save percentage to just 25th, though 7th among goalies who've hit double-digit wins already.

Price has admitted he needs to be more "competitive" even though there are only 5 goalies in double-digits victories who have lower goals-against averages (and 2 of those 5 are on Chicago).

Some Canadiens fans continue to obsess over Price-vs-Halak: the Blues' goalie has only an .884 to Carey's .908 even after the slump.  Jaroslav is 13th overall in GAA, Carey 14th (2.31-2.35).
