Habs win game, lose Prust
The Canadiens stormed back to beat the Lightning 4-3 in Tampa but finished the game without the services of Brandon Prust.
Prust went into the boards hard, on is own, during the third period of tonight's game and left with an upper body injury: he looked to be favouring his shoulder.
The Habs erased a 3-1 deficit with third-period goals by Brian Gionta at 3:49, Alexi Emelin at 7:33, and Brendan Gallagher, with the winner, at 12:03. The goal by Gionta came on the power play.
Tomas Plekanec also scored for the Canadiens who, despite being badly outplayed in the second period, totally dominated in the third: outshooting Tampa 13-2 over the final 20 minutes. Michael Ryder chipped in with two assists.
Carey Price was in goal for the win while former Habs' prospect Cedrick Desjardins took the loss.
Bulldogs' farmhands, defenceman Greg Pateryn and forward Gabriel Dumont, were in the lineup for the Canadiens. Both finished with just under 10 minutes of ice time.
