"He doesn't shoot....he scores!"

Future Hall of Famer Marty Brodeur has scored for the 3rd time in his NHL career, but his latest trick is unique.  The Devils goalie is officially credited with a 1st period powerplay goal against the Carolina Hurricanes.

Brodeur has scored 1 other regular season goal and one postseason goal, but most goalie goals are empty-netters.  Brodeur very nearly accounted for the game-winning goal.  The Devils won 4-1.
