Max Pacioretty and Brian Gionta, who sat out last night's 3-1 win over the Senators at the Bell Centre with upper body injuries, joined the "black aces" on the ice this afternoon and both players will travel to Ottawa for game three tomorrow night.

"They are day to day. We'll see for tomorrow," said head coach Michel Therrien after the players wrapped up today's session at the Bell Sports Complex.

During a Hockey Night in Canada broadcast Saturday night, Kevin Weekes reported, and subsequently tweeted @KevinWeekes that Gionta is "Likely" out for the playoffs. Tweeted Weekes: "He will do everything he can to play. Will require surgery at some point."

Therrien had no update regarding the condition of Lars Eller, who was sent to the sidelines after being flattened by Eric Gryba in a hit to the head that resulted in a two-game suspension. Gryba served game one of his suspension last night.
