Inaugural performance at MSO's new home
A slew of VIP's attended the inaugural performance Wednesday evening at the new home of the Montreal Symphony Orchestra.
The inside of the yet unnamed venue on St Urbain is said to be finished, but the outside is not yet complete.
Formier premier Lucien Bouchard, who sits on the MSO governing board and delivered an opening night speech, says the venue became a reality thanks to the vision and leadership of premier Charest and his government.
Charest was among those in attednance.
The hall, which is the result of a private-public partnership, seats nearly two-thousand people.
