Interpol now alerted to Magnotta
Luka Rocco Magnotta appears to have fled the country.
Montreal Police had issued a Canada-wide warrant for his arrest in connection with the discovery of a man's torso stuffed in a suitcase found in an alley in Snowdon this week.
The International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) now lists Magnotta as one of 282-criminals with world wide warrants outstanding.
Magnotta is suspected of murdering and then dismembering a man, mailing a severed foot to Conservative Party headquarters and a severed hand that was addressed to Liberal Party headquarters but was intercepted at the main post office in Ottawa.
The identity of the victim is unknown.
