The Quebec Liberal Party is kicking off an ad campaign today aimed at keeping the party front and centre even as most of us are thinking of a summer break.

Premier Jean Charest took to Youtube last night to talk about leadership and making tough decesions which may prove unpopular with some people.

Charest says those decesions are taken for the long term.

The 60-second commercial will begin airing on televsion today.

    Comments disabled on YouTube, nice.
How about if Jean Charest really did take make a decision for ALL Quebec citizens, and especially "for the next generation". How about if he made the decision to get rid of Bill 101.
I can't believe how French people don't see the extreme disservice imposed on them by the Quebec government(s), by not teaching them English. How limited their futures become by only speaking French in North America, and the world.
Come on Jean, take the hard and unpopular decision you claim to care about, and kill Bill 101 !!

You are a fool, the Bill 101 is not a boycott of the english language, it's about preserving the French culture of Quebec which is constantly menaced by the immigration. Just so you know, we are taught BOTH French and English in French schools. Are you really expecting a government to force an entirely French population to speak English just because of the economic advantages?
You are so ignorant, find a book to read.
