Marois sends Fete Nationale message

The timing looks to be a response to this week's video message from Premier Jean Charest but the PQ says the message from its leader Pauline Marois has more to do with the Fete Nationale, than any upcoming election campaign.

Still, among the soundbites about pride, flag, language and Felix Leclerc are a few about the past few months of student turmoil.

Marois says the dispute drove divisions between generations and even families and she invites Quebecers to build a proud Quebec nation that brings people together.
