Appeal Court Judge Richard Wagner of Montreal has been named to hear the request for freedom of former judge Jacques Delisle.

Delisle is a former Appeal Court Judge in Quebec City who was convicted last month of murdering his disabled wife at their home in 2009.

He is appealing the first degree murder conviction and wants to be released from prison pending the decision.

The Crown wants him to stay locked up given the seriousness of the crime.

The bail hearing  will be held today.

Oh Please, just cause he was a judge what gives him the right to be out on bail. He murdered his wife.. pay the price and spend the rest of your years in jail. Im sure your wife would have loved to have lived.
