A two year old girl has died after falling into a pool at a home in the Ste. Rose sector of Laval.

Laval police and Urgences Santé were called at about 2:45 Sunday afternoon, after the girl was found unconscious at the bottom of an in-ground pool.

The child was taken to hospital where she died a few hours later.
