	ATV crashes into car during police chase Posted By: Michel Boyer mboyer@astral.com · 7/19/2012 7:44:00 AM A man was arrested Wednesday night after he crashed into a car near the corner of Renaissance and Marc-Aurele Fortin avenue in Ste-Rose. He was driving an ATV without a helmet and while under the influence of alcohol. Police noticed the driver was on the road, which is not permitted, and that he wasn't stopping any any stop signs. The police chase only lasted about a minute, police say, but landed the man in hospital with serious injuries to the head and legs. Officials say his life is not in danger. The man is now facing charges of drunk driving, driving an ATV without a helmet and other traffic violations.
