West Island Liberals in it to win

This election campaign, it's a whole new ball game for West Island Liberals.

There's a new kid in town.

The concern is with the Coalition Avenir Quebec and that they may split the vote.

Geoff Kelley, who represents Jacques-Cartier, along with Yoland James, Pierre Marsan and Francois Ouimet make up the West Island Liberal team, working on a platform of health, transportation and employment, enthusiastically defending the Liberal record.

"We've invested heavily in terms of improving train service to the West Island, new cars, new locomotives, new signalling.  The existing service, it has it's limitations, but it's much better than it was four yeras ago."  said Kelley.

What about the other parties?

"I look at the platform of the Parti Quebecois and they offer nothing to the English speaking community north of the West Island.  I look at the Coalition and they want to eliminate school boards, which are very important for the English speaking community.

So far, seven parties are set to present candidates in the four West Island ridings.
