Environment canada has issued a severe weather warning for southern Quebec including Montreal and its surrounding region. We will be seeing severe thunderstorms this afternoon that will produce heavy rain, high winds and intense lightning. One of these severe thunderstorms could produce a tornado and Some areas may see hail stones.
The warning went into effect just after 1 this afternoon and will continue until 8 this evening.
