Suspected child molester fit to stand trial
A homeless Montreal man accused of sexually molesting a teenaged boy almost eight months ago was back in court briefly today,.
Amir Pourasadi's 30-day psychiatric evaluation found he is fit to stand trial and can be held criminally responsible for his actions.
He is accused of sexually touching a 13-year-old boy on the #55 city bus back in December and a young girl on another bus in February.
Pourasadi returns to court a week from today (August 15th). He is currently under investigation in a third molestation case.
