Gas prices spike

Gas prices are on the rise.

A number of stations have been spotted today selling a litre of regular unleaded gasoline at just under $1.45. That's a spike of about 7 cents per litre.

And it's expected that most gas retailers will follow this increase by tomorrow morning.

3 days later the prices here are still in the 140's and in Ontario the prices have gone up by 4c to 122 at the most between here and Cornwall during the same period. If that's not price fixing i don't not what is. Especially as the price off the West Island is now the same as on the West Island and was 10c different since the price hike.
This pales in significance with the corruption going on in the province. All Quebecors are being blatantly robbed blind here and it is also killing our retail and food industry economies.
People can only spend there dollars once and right now its feeding an offshore monopoly that contributes nothing to our province or economy.
