Health the #1 concern for voters: CJAD poll

NOTE: This is part II of a CJAD 800/The Gazette poll. See part I here.

The most important issue on the minds of voters is health care.

That according to a poll released Saturday by CJAD 800 and The Gazette.

30 percent of respondents rank health as number one.

The economy and employment was the second-leading concern; corruption was close behind.

For anglophones in particular, health was first again but the economy was a close second. Absent from the major issues was both sovereignty and tuition, the reason why this election was called in the first place.

Listen to Jack Jedwab, executive director of the Association for Canadian Studies, analyze the poll by clicking play above.

The poll was commissioned for CJAD and The Gazette, in partnership with the Association for Canadian Studies and the Quebec Community Groups Network.
