Montreal City councillor for Snowdon, Marvin Rotrand, has concerns about the new federal electoral map.

Although he is pleased that now N.D.G. will be reunited, some of the west end districts are being shifted.  Notably, Snowdon, which will become part of the John-Peter-Humphrey district, which will include Dorval and portions of Park Extension.  Rotrand says these two sectors have nothing to do with one another.

At last night's Montreal city council meeting, Rotrand invited involved citizens to speak out, and let the commissioners know how the feel about these proposed changes.  Deadline is August 27th.

Rotrand will present his formal opposition at city council September 5th.
