Young people too focused on "good life"
Quebec's youth are generally too pre-occupied with living "the good life," according to François Legault.
While passing through the Beauce, Legault said Qubec's young people are too focused on pleasure activities, Le Devoir newspaper is reporting.
The CAQ leader says the opposite is true in Asian countries. "In the long term, there is a danger if Asians work hard, and we only want to live the good life. We have to wake up one day," he reportedly said.
Legault says when he spoke to youth involved in the Institut du Nouveau Monde, many questioned why it was necessary to create prosperity in Quebec. "It was 'why? Why create prosperity? Me, what I want in life is not to have stress, to be home by 4'," Legault said.
