Pride Parade on today
The Pride Parade, three hours of music, dance and flamboyant dress is being held this afternoon,
Jean Sebastien-Boudreau, vice president of Montreal Pride expects todays event will be the biggest.
"This year we're trying to have a colourful parade, so the theme is our flag, our pride. So we want everybody to come and enjoy and be as colourful as possible."
And the parade is not for just the gay community.
"We really welcome everybody." said Sebastien-Boudreau. "The idea of pride is to have members of the LGBT community , along with other people, the straights, the families."
Some parents may disagree, that the Pride Parade is a little too risqué. For others, not so much.
The Pride Parade begins at one this afternoon at the corner of Guy and Rene-Levesque.
