A man in his 40s suffered serious injuries this afternoon after being hit by a truck in the parking lot of the Dorval Gardens shopping center this afternoon.

Montreal police say the man was hit at around 1 this afternoon, by a truck going in reverse.

He was then rushed to hospital with injuries that are being described as life-threatening.

The driver of the truck, also in his 40s, was treated for shock.
