New poll points to minority PQ government
A little more than a week to go to election day, and a post-debates poll points to a minority PQ government.
The Leger Marketing survey for Le Journal de Montreal has the PQ at 33-percent, the Coalition five points back at 28-percent and the Liberals at 27-percent.Quebec Solidaire is at 7-percent.
"The poll generally shows a consistent trend line from the other polls that were from Leger and and from CROP", political analyst Eric Greinier told CJAD News.
"The PQ has been holding steady in the low 30's and that the CAQ is starting to make gains on the Liberals, which could become a problem in this last week, (of the campaign), as there's a possibility that federalist voters might swing over to, (CAQ leader), Francois Legault just to prevent the PQ from coming", adds Grenier.
