Armstrong to attend upcoming World Congress on Cancer in Montreal
Lance Armstrong will be in Montreal this coming week for the World Cancer Congress.
The cyclist formed a foundation following his own battle with the disease.
The U.S. Anti-Doping Agency has just disciplined Armstrong with a lifetime ban from professional cycling and vacated his seven Tour de France titles after deciding he used performance-enhancing drugs.
Armstrong announced this past week he would no longer fight doping accusations.
A spokesperson says Armstrong will honour his commitment to be part of the event and will deliver a speech as expected.
The congress runs from August 27th till the 30th.
