St. Jacques exit to reopen Friday night
For motorists who've had to deal with roadwork all summer in and around the Turcot interchange, some good news from Transport Quebec.
The St. Jacques exit off the westbound Ville Marie Expressway, not far from where the new MUHC superhospital is being built, is finally due to reopen during the night Friday into Saturday.
It had been closed since Feb. 6.
Construction crews will put the finishing touches on their work for the next two months without any more closures.
Transport department spokesperson Isabelle Monette also says the access ramp from the 20 east to the Ville Marie east will be shut down until Monday morning, after that, one of two lanes will reopen through the fall.
