Maple syrup theft
As much as 30-million dollars worth of maple syrup has been stolen from a warehouse south of Trois Rivieres and no one is quite sure when the theft occurred.
It was discovered last week during a routine inspection.
The warehouse is owned by the Quebec Federation of Maple Syrup producers.
They're insured for the loss, but are worried about future prices.
The federation is concerned that given the amount of syrup stolen the thieves may try to undercut producers.
