Funny election t-shirts banned by DGE
The Director General of Elections (DGE) has warned a Montreal retailer not to create or sell humourous t-shirts.
The shirts, which include one that portrays Jean Charest with Mickey Mouse ears, constitute "electoral exepenses" because they favour one party over another, the DGE says.
Another features the "8/10" grade that Charest gave himself on the corruption issue; a third features the phrase "Maple Spring" with PQ candidate and former student-leader Léo Bureau-Blouin.
