Taxi driver dodges bullets

A Montreal cabbie and his passengers had to dodge several gun shots early Monday morning.

Police say around 3:15 a.m. shots were fired toward a taxi driving along Notre-Dame east near 39th avenue in Pointe-aux-Trembles.

Luckily, no one was hurt, but the rear left window of the cab was shattered.

Police say they are looking for three male suspects who were aboard a black car.

They believe one of the passengers in the cab was the target of the shooting as he had been in an altercation with one of the suspects earlier in the night.
