Pierre Langlois lost by 80 votes to his CAQ rival, Stephane Le Bouyonnec. Elsewhere, a judicial recount has been given the go-ahead in the riding of St. Francois in the Eastern Townships, where the PQ won by 110 votes. The winning candidate in St. Francois is expected to be named Pauline Marois' health minister.
