$500,000 in headsets stolen from W.I. audio company

Audio equipment company Sennheiser Canada says thieves targeted its Pointe-Claire headquarters last night and stole about a half-million dollars' worth of headsets.

They say a 56-foot tractor-trailer containing about 4600 RS-126 headsets was stolen from the company's offices on Labrosse St. over the weekend. The company says the headsets are easily identifiable, and they're suggesting anyone who has one could be considered a receiver of stolen goods.

And they want anyone who comes in contact with one to contact Sennheiser Canada at 514-426-3013.

Montreal police, meantime, say they received a complaint Tuesday morning, and that they've opened an investigation into the heist.
