Liberals, CAQ draw line in the sand
Pauline Marois has not yet assumed the office of premier, but two of her main promises may already be
the CAQ and Liberals already say they will not allow her to introduce some of her policies.
The two parties say they will block any attempt to impose bill 101 on CEGEPs and introduce citizen initiated referendums.
"We will never accept that. Over my dead body. You can read my lips: no deal at all on that," says Gerald Deltell with the CAQ.
The Liberals interim leader Jean-Marc Fournier is taking a similar stance, but both parties say they are willing to work with the PQ on other issues.
