	Bronfman joins wealth pledge Posted By: Canadian Press · 9/18/2012 9:26:00 PM Montreal-born Charles Bronfman is joining a list of families who are pledging to donate the majority of their wealth. A total of 92 American families have now committed to give half of their wealth to philanthropy by taking the ``Giving Pledge,'' initiated by billionaires Warren Buffett and Bill and Melinda Gates in 2010. Bronfman was ranked by Forbes magazine this year as the 13th wealthiest Canadian with a net worth of two-billion dollars. He now lives in New York.
