Philippe Couillard still mulling over leadership bid
Former Quebec Health Minister Philippe Couillard is playing his cards close to his vest when it comes to his intentions for the leadership of the Quebec Liberal party.
"Do I miss politics? That's a good question. I miss making a contribution," Couillard told reporters.
But he wouldn't say much else after taking part in a debate about private and public healthcare. He refused to comment on the leadership situation or anyone's candidacy, much less his own.
"My decision has not been taken yet and I'm still thinking about this at different levels including a personal level, the kind of support I see happening or not."
Couillard said he can't make an informed decision without knowing the rules the party intends to adopt about the leadership race regarding things such as timelines and financing.
