Montreal police are investigating a murder in Beaconsfield.

A 29-year old man, who was found unconscious in the parking lot of the Beaurepaire train station at Beaurepair and Woodland at around 9:30 died in hospital overnight.

The man was known to police but Constable Simon Delorme says the cause of death is not known.

The victim may have been beaten to death.
It is the 23rd homicide in Montreal this year.
