He might just be a candidate for the dumbest thief of the year award.

Longueuil police are looking for a suspect in a break and enter at a business in the old Longueuil borough.

They're looking for a thief who snuck around inside La Nouvelle Tablée at 2140 de la Province assuming he couldn't be seen while being caught on crystal clear surveillance video.

The video shows the man entering the building, getting down on his hands an knees and searching the office, finally stealing  the petty cash.

Longueuil police say it's happened several times, all involving the same suspect.
