An accident at the Baron De Hirsch Cemetery on Mountain Sights in Cote des Neiges has killed a woman visiting the cemetery.

The 43 year old victim was crushed by a backhoe working at the site.

According to Urgences Sante, the woman was declared dead on the scene.

The victim's mother, who was accompanying her daughter but wasn't with her at the time of the accident, has been brought to hospital to be treated for nervous shock.
