Trudeau to run for Liberal leadership
A report in La Presse this morning says that Justin Trudeau has made up his mind about taking a run for the leadership of the federal Liberal Party.
He's going to do it.
The newspaper says Trudeau will make the announcement at a new conference in his Papineau riding next Tuesday.
And, Radio Canada reports that former Health Minister Philippe Couillard will be the first candidate to declare his intention to run for the leadership of the Quebec Liberal Party.
He will also make it official early next week.
Couillard has been out of politics since resigning from the National Assembly in June of 2008.
