Sureté du Quebec homocide investigators are on the scene this morning of a possible overnight murder in Brome Lake, in the Eastern Townships. 

Police say around 2 a.m. officers were called to Lakeside rd where the body of a man was discovered behind a bar in possibly a small body of water, such as a stream. 

Reports are saying the man was beaten to death but that has not yet been confirmed by police.

The victim's identity or age are also not yet known.

The SQ has set up a command post at the bar and investigators are now speaking to potential witnesses.
