Man dies while on the job in Pointe-Claire
Urgences-Santé confirms to CJAD that a man has died following a work-related accident in Pointe-Claire this morning.
It happened outside an office building in the industrial park on Selkirk near Brunswick north of Highway 40.
The man was an employee of an aluminum siding company, Aluminum B. Bouchard.
Montreal police say he was pinned against a fence by a lift truck around 7:30 a.m.
He was transported to hospital where his death was pronounced a short time later.
His colleague who was operating the machinery was taken to hospital for a nervous shock.
The CSST is now investigating.
