The godfather of the Montreal Mafia is going to be released from a prison in Colorado on Saturday, but reports say he may even be released a day earlier. 

The question now is, what will Vito Rizzuto do after that? Willl he seek revenge? Find a compromise? Go to another city? Or come back to Montreal? 

Antonio Nicaso is an author and mob expert. He says it is hard to tell.

"Mr. Rizzuto is a different man, marked by the suffering while he was in jail. He lost his father, his son, his brother-in-law, and other close associates," explains Nicaso. "He will find a very different country, with a very different criminal landscape."

Nicaso says it would surprise him though if Rizzuto did not return to Montreal.

"It would show a sign of weakness if he didn't," he says, "and that is the last thing he wants to show."
