The owner of a multi million dollar winning Loto 6/49 ticket has less than two weeks to claim their prize or else forfeit the winnings forever.

All Loto Quebec officials know is that the ticket was purchased in Riviere du Loup last October.

The winner has one year to claim the 8.3-million dollar prize or the money will be returned to the prize pool and will be distributed as bonus prizes in future draws.

The prize expiries October 22nd.
